SOUL ASYLUM
To me, Soul Asylum has always been synonymous with the dynamic energy of lead singer Dave Pirner, who consistently captivates the audience on stage. While he still exudes a commanding presence, their performance showcased the entire band during the whole set. I fondly recall "someone to shove" from the 90s, yet like many in the crowd, I was particularly eager to join in on "runaway train". They certainly delivered, making it the standout moment of a delightful start to an evening field with great music. LIVE at Webster Hall in New York City.
